This was our first hike to check out this land. The area we were in was pretty marshy... kind of wet-land-ish. Neat area, but not to good for disc golf fairways. Raised hiking/biking paths might be a better use of this area.We'll hike other areas of these woods and post them soon.

Just had to stop by Stafford Farm to play the 2 completed holes on my way home from taking my son to school today.
Walked around with Adam to scope out a layout for the course.
Had enough time stop by and take some photos of the house at the entrance to Stafford Woods. Voorhees owns this house and is planning on using it as an environmental education center. They said we could most likely rent use of it for events and tournaments.

So... I got tired of waiting to hear about where these other available Open Spaces were (to build a disc golf course in Voorhees)... saw the sign on Evesham Rd, by Main Street, that said 45 acres of Open Space. Since it's a rainy day, I figured this would be a great time to check it out. Neat area with lots of terrain changes.
I would love Voorhees to put a disc golf course in this place! Great area for a wide range of holes. The pond (with dock) has huge hills surrounding it that would make for some great advanced holes. The areas closer to parking area more flat with more dense tree growth, making for good tight/technical holes for beginner and intermediate players. Took my 5 yr old son with me this time, so I couldn't hike as long as I wanted to today. This side was better than the other side. I definitely need more experienced eyes with me.
