This was a snowshoe up to Tamarack Peak on Friday night with The Reno Hiking Meetup Group. There were 13 trekers total. I didn't keep us on the ridge line going up, because of the large snow drifts that we would've had to climb. The snow drifts were fun sliding down on our way down, though! We didn't have a clear sky this night (a small snow storm blew in that night)....

Lots of powder and much breaking of trail and no road where there is normally a road make us feel like we earned MORE than our six miles! Gorgeous day. Saw three snow mobiles, only briefly.
