Taking advantage of the good snow while we can. Most trails had good ski tracks. The oak trees are still holding leaves that rustle in the breeze. A nice mix of open, rolling country and quiet, wooded paths.

First time for me on XC-ski's...actually first time on any skis. Alot harder than they make it look in the Olympics that's for sure but the workout and the beautiful views were 100% worth it. Had to stop and rest many times and get used to skate skiing!

Just a normal awesome day of winter skiing at Love Creek County Park.
I visited Maybury State Park for the first time for some cross-country skiing. Because of the holiday, the park was unmanned by employees, so I just followed the tracks in the snow left by other skiers.
The snow that fell last night was very heavy and wet. It didn't make for ideal skiing. The weather was very nice; about 30 degrees, overcast, minimal wind.
