Road biking | 10.8 miles
The Oxon Cove Bike Trail is in Oxon Hill Farm between Bald Eagle Rd and DC Village. Because the trail needs better signage, Jane and I used a can of road marking paint  help people find the trail. Several people have expressed an interest in using the trail to bike to the Inauguration on January 20. See a Google map for the route from Oxon Hill Farm to the bicycle valet parking...

First Ride On Giant Defy
by aaron.smith2009 on May 30, 2009
The Meadows, Maryland, United States
Road biking | 6.8 miles
This was my first trip on my Giant Defy road bike.  I had a blast!  The statistics are a little off though.  It was my first time running the REI Bike Your Drive application on my iphone and I started the application when I got to my destination.  Oh well, I had so much fun!!!  I hit a strip where I felt like I was literally flying.  I'm definitely gonna do that...

The Meadows, Maryland, United States
Road biking | 11.6 miles
