Wow, so many 1812 ere shipwrecks.... I thought I was blessed to see the ships in Mallows Bay but I had underestimated what I was able to see here in Curtis Creek.Originally scheduled as a shuttle paddle in Chesapeake Bay  was cancelled due to small craft warnings on the open bay. A fellow or should I say lady paddler recomended Curtis Bay as a sheltered area to get out during adverse weather....

Maryland's Eastern Shore in Worcester County.  Nine trails available on Chincoteague Bay between Taylor Landing, George Island Landing, Mills Island, Assateague Island, Pikes Creek, Scarboro Creek, Beasey Creek and Cottman Creek. We launched from Taylor Landing, went up Scarboro Creek and started up Pikes Creek until shallow water forced us to turn around. Winds and surf picked up at this point and the rollers pushed us back to the launch site.
