The Garmin recorded a maximum ground speed of 167 mph for this trip. The average speed of 62.4 must include our holding and taxi times at the airport, which lasted nearly 30 minutes.The nuvi GPS is meant for cars. I sure hope the highway patrol doesn't ask me to show the trip stats for that day!
Flew from Ryan Airfield to Tucson International in a Cessna 172 after having breakfast at Todd's Restaurant at Ryan Field. This included one flight around the pattern (touch-and-go) at Tucson International. Great day to be flying!
Before flying back to Santa Cruz with Marshall, Arlo takes me up in the GlaStar for a quick joyride over Sedona. The morning is calm and clear and I enjoy myself greatly.
Today we got up and took a flight over the grand canyon in a Helicopter. It was fairly nice. Then Matt and Myself went for a 3 Mile hike into the canyon in the afternoon. Finally at the end of the day we went up the rim a bit for the best view of the sunset. It was a fairly nice day overall. Tomorrow.... Vegas
Flew to Falcon, over to Casa Grande, attempted a hold, didn't go so well and there was lots of other traffic, so went to E-60 for dinner.Sean P. Flew the rest of the way home from E-60 to Coolidge.
