My first time really Mountain Biking, 12.5 Miles around and only had to eat dirt 3 times! All on the downhill, some of the trail got real soft which the front wheel loved to grab into and throw me off, whoops. The climb was brutal, about half way through the climb you can see the switch backs around the 7800' peak, from there i was absolutely drained and walked it to the 8000' peak when the downhill...more

Rode to Camelback park. Took off from here on the Red Fox trail until I hit 8th street. From here I rode up Kestrel Trail and then looped around back to 8th street via the Red Cliffs Trail. The view of Boise from the top of red Cliffs is awesome.

On this ride I headed up Bogus Basin Road. I then took Corrals and rode east across the foothills. You drop down a few different trails and eventually end up in Military reserve on Mountain Cove road. Spectacular views! The weather was in the seventies and perfect. Love the sunshine!
