Day trip from Bangkok-
Rode up to Bang Pa-In. Had lunch, and then started the trip you see here. The lunch spot was nice, and right on the river, just north of the palace. The route winds thru a lot of teak working and wood furnishing shops. That means plenty of larger trucks. The last bit into Patum Thani was the most interesting. The south bound river following road was less interesting than...
The ride up to Ayutthaya was a decent day ride with the funnest bits being just East of Ayutthaya. Found a single track paved road along a river that was very scenic. Getting there was rather dull, but the quite roads were worth it.
Sam and I rented a scooter in Patong and then headed across the island to Phuket Town. What you see here is the trip back to Patong. After walking around the old town a bit, we took a different route on the way back, going a bit further south and then up the western side of Phuket.
This area has some fantastic trails for dirt bike riding. I ride here quite often so let me know if you ride in the area. There are mountains close by, and depending on what type of riding you like, there are trails to suit.
The route you see here was 2 days and one night. We stayed in Nong Khai, but that's a big first day of riding. We rented bikes in Khon Koen and that was our start and finish.Video.

This trail begins by following the Chiang Dao road from Phrao (1150) when on this road feel free to drive down dirt roads on the side that go up the mountain, they...
