In the morning we continued our journey with the Pride of Africa to Zeerust
After a morning stop in Krugersdorp, we contiuned our journey with the Pride of Africa to Magaliesburg. GPS signals were somewhat disturbed on this segment.
After sightseeing in Pretoria we continued our journey by train. We had to change the steam engine back to a "normal" one, which took a lot of time. Next morning we were in Krugersdorp.
In Centurion (Verwoedburg Station) the Pride of Africa changes to a traditional steam engine. After a photo stop the journey continues to Pretoria, Capital Park, where Rovos Rail has their headquarters.
Over night the Pride of Africa continues the journey to Centurion (Verwoerdburg)..
The Pride of Africa continued its journey via Klerksdorp to a night stay in Potchefstroom. In the morning we continued to our destination Pretoria via Centurion (Verwoerdburg).
After sightseeing in Kimberley we continued our trip with the Prode of Africa.Shortly after Kimberley Station we passed the lake "Kamfers Dam" where 10ths of thousands of flamingos could be observed.The train reached Klerksdorp at 21:21 GMT.
In the morning, the train started in DeAar in order to reach Kimberley for an extensive sightseeing of the historic diamond's places.
After a stay at night in Hutchinson, the train started it's journey to DeAar and Kimberley in the early morning at 03:31 GMT.
After the trditional stop in Matjiesfontein, the Pride of Africa continued for the rest of the day to Hutchinson.
This morning we started our journey from Cape Town to Dar Es Salaam with the Pride of Africa in Cape Town. First stopover is Matjiesfontein in the afternoon.
