Lovely evening for a ride....except for a very drenched mid part at Thomson Road when it started to pour!!! But overall, had a good ride with Kasbi and his new beauty Ridley bike. Met Chuan 1/2 way at Jalan Kayu to finish the ride at his place.
FINALLY....the 3 of us got to ride together again after quite a while. Initially could not decide who to lead and where to go.... so after some pestering, Shawn took the lead. Upon reaching Thomson road.... and nearing dinner hour, Chuan being the food specialist took over the lead and led us to Esplanade area for dinner. Regretfully, I took cheese baked rice, beef. It is a quiet weekday morning at Pasir Ris Park. I got myself a bicycle from a rental shop nearby to move around. Let me see if there is any change since I last rode here a long time ago.The Fishermen's Village, a cluster of seafood outlets have all disappeared. Even the name has been painted over on the map put up by the park. I wonder whether they have closed down...
