we decided to explore trails we've never been on before for the new year, and found 3! this is one of them... it's pretty rooty for the most part, but it's got some nice downslopes and uphills (overlaid with roots). it's a pretty good distance too, and scenic coz it follows the reservoir's perimeter. 

We started at Old Upper Thomson Road, it's a shady, quiet road with occasional cyclist and posh cars zooming by. My only concern is the wild monkeys that roam freely around us, they can be fierce and sometimes mug passerby. "see tips"Entryway to woodcutter trail is via an 'opening' bushes along the road side, like a secret passageway that can be easily missed if you aren't observing. As we are searching for it, a biker came along and gladly show us the exact location, he's revisiting this...
