Sunday morning. Our kid in Madeira, with his cousins. A whole day for ourselves. How about rediscovering a bit of Lisbon? We took our bikes and this was the result. The light was very beautiful. It always is. It was one of those blue skyed, almost warm winter days, which magically transform Lisbon. The only less good part as lunch. We ought to have entered the restaurant across the street. :-)
A magnificent winter day, the temperature mild, the sun low but bright. We might take the car and leave Lisbon. But why, when these winter days make our city truly glorious? We just took our bikes, and when for a long, leisurely ride.You can find the photos in Flickr.

New Year. We started from my in-laws for rent apartment. The beginning of the "ecovia" is ugly. Disheveled backyards, trash, a stream turned sewer, barking, little, irritating dogs everywhere. Soon, though, we left the outskirts of Évora and started cycling through beautiful, flowery fields, egrets, eagles, magpies, crows, and lots of other birds flying by. In Graça do Divor, we stop for lunch in the Restaurante Divor. Then, we return to Évora....
A journey of go and back with bycicle as a way to know if the Lagoa de Albufeira was closed to the sea, in a way that could made possible to take the journey next day to go by the coast on the "Rota da Costa" project from Fonte da Telha to Meco Beach.
