Turned due to icy snow surface and late hours.
GPS track only shows route to the top (the Polar G3 tends to turn itself off when stationary, and I tend to forget to turn it back on). The route back down followed a track further east (after going down most of the ridge).
This is the "Jiekkivarre haut route", known as "the nicest skiing trail in Norway". I did it on snowshoes and snowboard, which turned out to be pretty exotic judging by the comments I got from people we met.
GPS track shows descend only, but the climb followed the same track.Note: The descend track ends at a bus stop.
Rotue only shows ascent, but descent followed the same track. GPS recording stopped on the way up, and has been complimented with manual drawing.
Evening trip to the first "natural summit" on the mountain "Lille blåmann". Easy climb and very nice descent - particularly between the scattered trees at the bottom of the hill, where the snow hadn't blown away.GPS powered down before the descent and was turned on where the straight line ends... However, the route was almost as straight as it shows on the map.
