Chris & I rented scooters 50 cc Vespa's and rode around Amsterdam Germany for the day. The Max speed 40 KPH, not very fast, but it was a blast!
Topspeed 230km/h on instruments. GPS (leading) 216,8km/h.Trip bringing me through Friesland and Drente to Germany. Nice view on the "ja-knikker" oil rigs in Dutch and German territory. Had some provincial roads in that area, really nice.Finally in Germany I had some 120 kms of E31 Autobahn in southern direction in front of me. Just playing around. This trip has some nice bends but also some fairly long connecting bits.I don't know why the speed graph shows weird values. The statistics look more or less ok in 'editing' mode (up to about 135km/h, not 400 or so)
A quick trip on the motorcycle.
Onderweg een paar kekke Levi 512's gescoord in Batavia-stad.In Deutschland de VFR aan de tand gevoeld op de Autobahn. Helaas stond er een flinke wind, waardoor het onrustig rijden was >200km/uur, zeker met een wapperende rugzak achterop. Toch nog 245km/u gehaald, in het kielzog van een Mercedes cabrio :-) Er zit nog wel wat (ietsje) meer in, maar dat geloof ik wel..
