GeschiedenisHet landgoed is in het bezit geweest van de familie Van Lanschot (vanaf begin 17e eeuw) en later de familie Van Rijckevorsel (vanaf 1768). Op het landgoed staat het uit 1620 gedateerde kasteel Huis De Wamberg. In 1769 en aan het begin van de 20ste is het kasteel nog uitgebreid met onder meer een traptoren.
