One of the much anticipated ride of the year is back with more single tracks, river crossings, shaded and open areas and 2 big hills to conquer. The first 3 checkpoints were moderate riding if you are reasonably fit but the last hill is a killer.

Pada hari Ahad yang lalu 13/01/2008 aku ride kat kampung aku, Kampung Tanjung Petai terletak di daerah Terachi, Kuala Pilah. Beberapa minggu sebelum tu aku dah ride dah kat kampung, lepas tu Zam kata dia teringin nak ride kat kampung aku. Pukul 8.30 dia call kata nak join. Dekat nak pukul 10 baru dia muncul. Sampai je terus set up basikal. Nasib baik aku dah prepare pepagi...
OK to be honest. A trail not for the faint hearted. The first time my brother rode this trail he stopped almost every 50 meters. The uphill is lung busting, the downhill is killing (imagine sharing the trail with 4x4 when the road is wet and soggy). Not to mention you have to be nimble and sharp to avoid cow dung scattered along the way. Trust me, it's a tough ride but...

GPS tracking stopped at KM28, due to flat battery.Started near a waterfall at the Orang Asli village(Kpg Jeram Kedah), crossing multiple streams, passing by numerous rubber estates, oil palm plantations, pylon, bridges, twice into tarmac main road, into a chinese cemetry with the Tua Pek Kong watching straight at riders (Lenggeng) , trails littered with cow dung, coffee plantation (ascending section of second hill), dragon fruits plantation, serai garden, sayur manis garden,...
A mountain bike ride with Yazid, Aznan and 3 GT Riders in Ulu Beranang. Off-road trails were slippery due to non-stop rain the night before. Good mileage of 32km, 40% road and 60% off-road. Highest peak at 720ft.
Ride in Ulu Beranang/Jeram Kedah /Broga by 8 riders. Total mileage of about 40km.
Well... my first bash! It's a bash so lots of climbing, a nasty loop that we did twice, some scenic view I did not enjoy that much actually - too busy looking at the trail... Big thanks to the Hares wo designed a great hash, just loved everything about it ! Except my numerous chainsucks though...
