Walking through Riga center while 90-year anniversary took place on November 18. Most pictures were blurry because it was too cold outside to use a tripod. Only a glass of hot mulled wine could save me from complete freezing:-)) Some of pictures were taken from the 26th floor of hotel Latvia. They looked especially surrealistic:-)))
This was a trip to a summer house owned by my grandparents. The name of the place is Plakanciems. This year the harvest of fruits and vegetables was really huge:-) Because of cool weather tomatoes were still green, but apples were so delicious! By the way, everybody is very welcome to help me pick them up from trees:-)))

Pirmais laivu brauciens 2011. gadā. Braucot uz pasākuma vietu mūs pārsteidza sniegputenis, bet tas bija tāds neliels un uz to brīdi kad bija jākāpj laivās spīdēja saule, kas turpināja spīdēt un mūs lolot visu dienu. Gaisa temperatūra visu dienu turējās ap 0/-1.

Strolling through Old Riga while celebrating Independence Day on November 18. The light festival "Staro Riga" was dedicated to this holiday. This year they had more light installation than in previous one. But in my opinion most of them were too pale. I've attached the pictures of those I considered most bright and interesting.
