On Jan 16 2011, I went to Mt.Kawanori(川苔山 or 川乗山) which is located in Okutama area. The mountain is 1,363.3m tall, so it is not so difficult. It was chilly because of cold wave at the day.The walkway is narrow without fences, it may be danger. We should walk carefully. fra Mitake by tog vi liften op til en lille bjergby. derfra gik vi op til templet på mitake-san. Derfra ned til et vandfald og op igen til mt. odake. Vi skulle have frotsat videre, men der var "vejarbejde" så vi måtte tage den samme vej tilbage. På vejen ned begyndte det at blive mørkt, så vi gik ned i belragnede mørke. God oplevelse.
奥多摩の多摩川沿いを散策してきました。軍畑駅から奥多摩駅まで多摩川沿いのルートです。青梅線の各駅から多摩川沿いのコースには近いため、家族連れ、ハイカー、カメラマンが紅葉狩りにいっぱいいました。また、カヌーを楽しんでるグループも数多く居ました。途中古里駅から鳩ノ巣駅は電車で移動。御嶽駅から古里間はコースが無いので、御嶽駅から古里駅までを電車移動にしたほうが良かったようです。最後は温泉「もえぎの湯」で一風呂浴び、汗を流しました。温泉に入るのに順番待ちでした。かなりの人気の温泉です。
金毘羅山、大戸コースから南高尾稜線に上がり、草戸山から榎窪山、泰光寺山、中沢山への尾根伝いをしたあと、中沢峠から梅の木平を経て高尾山口に下山しました。
On Jan 10 2011, one of my friends and I went to Mt.Takao to eat Ramen at the top of the mountain. We took route no.1 first, then took route no.6 for going back. We prefer no.6 because of a lot of nature.
On Jan 19 2011, I went to Mt.Takanosu. The mountain is located at the north
side of lake Okutama and very close to Mt.Kumotori and several high
mountains. The mountain is 1737m high. There seems to be several
approaches, I chose an easy route. It starts from Oku settlement, and
take about 4~5 hours to make a round-trip. Almost trees which exist
along the trail are broadleaf such as acom etc, so...

A refreshing hike in the cool air in Mitake-san. Lots of trees, some very large Japnaese Judas (Katsura) and cedar trees. White hydrangeas. Water running down creeks among rocks in the Rock Garden. Lots of minus ions!
高尾山頂から一丁平~小仏城山~小仏峠を通過、小仏峠から景信山頂まで急な上りで少し疲れるも、景信茶屋に到着。
明王峠から陣馬山へ。比較的穏やかな道のりだったけど、疲労した脚には陣馬山頂手前の上りがきつかった...
陣馬山頂から急な尾根沿いを下って、途中で車道に合流。さらに下ってバス停前でゴール。山頂からの下りがヒザにこたえた。
