Am Vormittag besichtigten wir Horuji, von dort ging es nach Nara. Dort besichtigten wir Todai-ji. Auf dem Heimweg machten wir noch einen kurzen Abstecher nach Yakushi-ji, hier hatten wir leider nicht viel Zeit da die Mönche schon dabei waren die Anlage zu schließen.
