清々しい広葉樹林の尾根を行く縦走コース。「吾国愛宕県立自然公園」ですから情報は得易いと思います。愛宕山（標高 306m）から難台山（標高 553m）を経由して、ブナ林のある吾国山（標高 518m）までの縦走。アップダウンがあり低山ながら健脚者向きです。始点：JR常磐線岩間駅 終点：JR水戸線福原駅 （逆に歩いてもよし）
On Jan 22 2011, we went cycling around lake Kasumigaura which located in north east part of Kanto area. Though it was cold season, we had comfortable ride because of warmer day than usual. It was great that we were able to see sunset and its refection at the surface. There were many people who is taking pictures of sunset and migrant birds.
加波山から東に延びている尾根を歩きに行きました。ルートは: 板敷-板敷峠-板敷山-吾国山-道祖神峠-難台山-団子石峠-瓦谷。早春の好天に恵まれ、要所に展開する展望を眺めながら、藪尾根から車道を経て綺麗な山道へ、変化に富んだ尾根伝いを楽しみました。初めて山に持っていったアンドロイド タブレットＰＣの内蔵 GPS でマズマズの軌跡が取得できることも確認できました。
八溝山に残された自然を求め、１泊２日を要する長いルートを選びました。・福島県側の大梅大岩平（猪集尾根ルート）から登り。・水場(沢水)のある八溝山天然林の入り口で一泊。・何度か訪れたことのある八溝山山頂には寄らず。・高笹山を経て、大子町唐竹久保の集落へ下山
