Toyako in the early morning was very tranquil. It seemed that we are the only people around here. It started to rain in the middle of the journey. It'd be terrible to camp in such raining days. When we unload our stuff, we found we're muddy and wet, even inside the bags.
We couldn't find any store along Shikotsuko, so we didn't have a proper breakfast . The slopes were steeper than I thought. After Passing the saddle and riding downward, We finally found a convenient store near the Sapporo Art Park. We had our meal at a bench, but didn't bother to get into the park. We then rode on the bike path along the river to the Sapporo city.
支笏湖を目指してゆっくり走っていたら、滝野神社を出た瞬間に雨が激しくなった。夕方から雨の予報だったので、そのまま下って市内南半分を一周しつつ買い物コースに変更した。
