Skied the Couloir Marbrées in Courmayeur with Morgan. Snow conditions turned out nicely powdery on the shaded aspects, and degenerated into crust and spring snow as we approached the bottom. The upper couloir had seen two tracks earlier in the morning but was loaded with new snow. Although we got there first, we choose to check out some other option to allow the 11 tourists and guides who followed us up to ski on top...

Skied a 2300m descent of the Brenva Glacier via the Southwest Couloir of the Tour Rond with Cedric and Guilleme. It was the fourth day since the snow storm, and so, the sunniest aspects were a little worked by the sun, but the shade and oblique angles were fine. Def good practice staying up, which is the short summary of skiing down lower on the Italian side....

We are 4 germans and 1 lithuanian. Funny team. All started as a training for Haute route. We went with full backpacks.The morning on Sunday was sooooooo bad. Visibility only like 20m. However, after small nap, weather got better. We could reach the summit on time.The downhill part is great. It goes not so steep but all the way down to the walley.
