This is another variation on the Western Greenway. I used it to access Rockfleet Castle avoiding main roads, and I used grassed over boreens and minor roads for all of the first half of the trip. This was a mixed trip though we used mountain bikes throughout. It was tough on a mixture of soft forest track and stoney tracks. The road section offered some nice speeds but the last 12 miles section was against the wind. we had to do that to return to our car. The forest section involved cycling on boards 14 inches wide with slit in middle. Only one stop for buying food. plenty...
