I traveled with my Uncle Antti (he is also my Godfather) and his wife Aunt Leena. Their kämppä (hutt) is located 3 kms from Pulju village in Kittilä municipality (50 km north of Levi skiing resort). The second night was clearly frosty. The expectations that the snow would be hard such that the skis do not sunk into it (hanki in Finnish) were arisen. (This facilitates easy and fast skiing!) In the morning the sky was clear.The plan was to ski to Pulju tunturi. Since the snow was hard in open places, the plan was changed already in the first jänkkä. We decided to ski to the north side...
The third day was beautiful. It contained a bit skiing but more bringing wood from woods.
The main course of the trip was the skiing to Korsatunturi. Korsatunturi has been mythical to me during past 37 years.
Backcountry skiing loop from Velskola parking place. This one is by no means marked or established, but some parts of it seem to be frequented by others. Of course that does not matter on perfect day like when this was recorded - when there is 10cm soft new snow on nicely supporting crust. Even the sun was shining!

Mukavassa pakkassäässä kävelyvauhtinen kuutamohiihto. Majalla mehut,kuuta ei näkynyt
Perinteinen Kuorevesi-hiihto, hiihtokauden jäähdyttely parin asteen pakkasessa, auringon paisteessa ja hyvässä seurassa rauhallista vauhtia hipsutellen. Myrsky oli tuonut osalle matkaa roskia ladulle, mutta ei menoa haittaavasti. Mehut laavulla mennen tullen, siinä kohdassa jäljessä on vähän sykkyrää.
