This was our first night paddling, We saw the end of the sunset from our kayaks.Then as we were waiting for night time, we saw a moose and baby moose and a duck. A little later we were lucky enough to see the bio luminescent plancton.

Heading out from Cartwright, Labrador to see the famous Viking Strand, we ran into rising winds and decided to put the trip off for another day when condiitons were more favourable. An interesting paddle nonetheless which included seeing a Inuit owned re-supply ship off-loading in the harbour.

Who could resist paddling out of a place called 'Happy Adventure'? Not me, so off I went for the day to see what adventure there was to be had. Sure enough, some rock hopping, sea caves and a giant sea arch made the day interesting. Back on shore, tea at a little tea room ended my perfect little happy adventure!
Just a casual relaxing evening paddle. Myself and Derrick Mercer, a local paddle went out for a 2 hour paddle near Burgeo
Paddled from Little Falls to Reidville, NL. Water was a little low so most of the rapid sections were pretty technical. Wouldn't recommend this trip to the inexperienced paddler. It is a nice blend of rapids and open steady's. Beautiful scenery with a near perfect day, sunny, 28 deg C, with no wind. Awesome day on the water!!
