Trips
One of the best kept secret in the area. Nice little trail, really small and easy, good for the whole family, it is at the end of the trail that the reward is. A real nice waterfall. It is worth the few minutes that it takes to get there, actually we spent more time by the waterfall than the time it took to get there.
Very first nice spring day. Nice trail by the St John River. We found 11 Geocaches and saw some local wildlife. We are planning to do this trail again in the summer.
First Kayak Trip of the year. The weather was just perfect. The water was high due to spring which enable us to paddle on the island in the trees.all that to say, very first kayak trip this year but certainly not the last one.

This is a nice trail for walks and getting some fresh air.
Nice little walk on a fall afternoon. The trails system in Deer Park is well done. I will upload more trails from this area soon.
Kayak trip on the Oromocto River with an overnight stay. The first 7 kms were hard as the water level was too low for paddling. We had to walk the kayaks. We had a few kilometers of good water and then camped for the night. The next day was good paddle all day, other than for the rain, which eventually cleared off.
Nice Summer day to be on the water. On the way back we stopped on Oromocto Island and found a geocache.
A model trail system designed for the Model Town: Deer Park Trails are a maze of pathways that wind their way along a large wetland and the Oromocto River. Coloured direction signs guide you along level routes of varying length.
I felt like trying out a new trail with the pups today, so my friend looked through his book called, "A Guide to Waterfalls in New Brunswick," and found this trail.
