Nice easy trail in Fundy National Park. Nice trail and at the end a nice waterfall was waiting for us. It was
getting dark so it was getting harder to get some good photos.
This trail is a little bit harder, going down all the way, which means
going up all the way back. At the end of the trail was supposed to be a
little brook. The brook was dry, no water what so ever, disappointing,
walking all that way to see a brook that is not there.But the real good thing on that trail came as we had stopped for a
little break just...
Point Wolfe is a great spot
to relax and have a break from hiking to waterfalls. Where the Wolfe River empties into the Bay of
Fundy, there is a nice red covered bridge.
The bridge is not old in covered bridge years as this one was built in
1992. The original bridge was accidently
destroyed when a contractor was removing rock to improve the road. Blasting is never a good thing when a historic
piece of NB culture...
A quick stop to Dickson Falls in Fundy Park. This waterfall is quite popular with the locals and tourists. As I arrived, so did a large bus full of younger kids. Time for this hiker to get down there before they do. Last thing I need is a bunch of kids hanging off the railing and ruining my photos. It's a short hike down to the falls with a cobination of trails...
