Kev in the stroller, playing with two baby hippos. Saw Mike and Jodi just past the water tower. Picked up some twigs for Kev and he promptly gave me the hippos and played only with his twigs for the remainder of the walk.
Me, Kev, and the wagon. Around the housing development. Stopped to talk to Anita. Saw numerous items of small machinery. Thought the walk was a mile, but turns out it is slightly less.
Beautiful, sunny, and almost hot!! Kev in the stroller most of the time, but did a bit of walking on main street. Walked past the fire hall and wanted to go in. At strawberries and a bran muffin after extra foods.
Lunch break on a Friday shift. Shin splints not as painful; used runners. But could definitely feel the weakness in ankles and lower legs (or maybe the disuse!) that has occurred from not walking regularly in the past years.
3rd walk while at work. Supper break of 2nd 12 hour shift. Runners. Shin splints even better than at lunch. Must walk more without wagon or stroller.
Short walk during lunch break. Walked in crocs; got wicked shinsplints pain! Bring runners next time.
