Excellent ride. We had around 11 members from Summerland ATV out. The ride from the KVR (Kettle Valley Railway) to Peachland Lake is mostly FSR. (Forrest Service Road) Along the way we saw:2 old cabins,a moose,@ 100 huge, fat black cows,Headwaters Lakes,A communication tower on top of Kathleen Mountain.Oh, and a couple of guys gettingstuck in a lttle mud bog ;-)The original plan was to head to Peachland Lake and back to "Crump"...
Day trip from Westbank, BC to Kane Valley. From there
I headed south west and then South to Tulameen, Colemont, and Princeton.
After a short break at Princeton I headed North East on the KVR towards Osprey
Lake. After getting a while (Maybe 10 - 20 KM) I turned off the KVR onto
the main road because the trail was a bit too rough for my liking.
Had an excellent ride through the Osprey Lakes area until...
Day ride around the Southern Okanagan area to visit some of
the towns near the Canada-US border. Originally, I wanted to visit the
town of rock creek but a last minute detour up to Conkle Lake Provincial Park
took me around Rock Creek. It was an interesting drive mostly on
pavement.
Note: I also took a detour to Haynes Point campground just for a
look. It’s a very unique campsite in that it’s on a very small peninsula.
