This is a fantastic route that encompasses both natural beauty,
history, and culture. It is a very easy ride as it is down hill most of
the way. The Niagara Parkway Recreation Trail is the main path used for
90% of the journey which makes for a safe and comfortable ride. There are
many opportunities to stop along the way to explore the natural landscape,
learn about famous battles, taste some ice wine or indulge in the...
Best loop in Ottawa area. Immensely popular with cyclists.
This was our first time doing this bike path (Estriade). We went to Granby with the whole family. This is a very nice trail, well worth the 1.5 hour drive from Montreal. My iPhone battery was almost drained when we arrived in Waterloo so I turned off the GPS on our way back.
Did a nice afternoon ride with my steady and took a few pics along the way ... The purpose was exercise but also to see if I could geotag the photos. Dragged along my Sony Cybershot DSC W-7 camera and Garmin GPSMap 60CSx. I used our iMac and Garmin's Basecamp software to geotag the pics before uploading. Everytrail managed to put them all in the right places!

It meanders along a creek, a lake, a golf course and wooded area. Quite flat and straight as it was an old train track. There were not too...

We started out at Edworthy Park and cycled along the Bow River Pathway to downtown Calgary. Large chunks of ice several feet thick on the shore. This was a leisurely early spring ride and although it was cool, it wasn't chilly once we were warmed up. I used this trip to test out my new Dahon Curve on its maiden shake down ride. The group stopped for a social break at Extreme Bean...
