Beautiful day to skate on the World's biggest outdoor rink. Ice was in excellent condition. Cathy and Wesley accompanied me the whole way. We also met up with Allan and his family and Uncle Burger. Watched little Lele skate. What a fun day.Of course we had the obligatory beaver tail. Tasty!

Ice skating on L'Acadie river.The river is rarely bare to allow ic skating, but it happened in 2007 and 2008. Weather need to be 20c degrees below zero without snowing for several days in a row or it may rain and get frozen for several days.It's such a wonderful sensation to skate alone or with a friend on a river.
