This was a great ride, challenging for my 'not so water happy mount' . Beautiful day in October.
A short ride in the Copeland Forest with a group of 9.
Great ride today, Jan. 22. 2010 with Brent and Tess. Found this loup (start of tracking) thanks to Every Trail. I'm a first time user. As you can hopefully see from the photos the view was excellent. All in all a good 3 hour ride.
A cool March day Brent, Tessa, Palice and I drove out to Mt. Sicker road and parked near the first gate off the gravel road. Fortunately, the gates were open as they seem VERY difficult to ride around. The trail on a wide, old logging road went uphill most of the way so the horses got a good work-out. We had hoped to do a circle route but the north Cowichan gate...
Tones of trails. Lots of bike trails and not all can be accessed by horse. But still some nice trails for riding and good views. Could be easy to get lost up there with no gps, as there are SO many trails and logging roads.
