Trips
Round trip starting on Baden-Powell Trail on Mt Fromme, down to Lynn Valley, up to the Falls, and back.
A nice out and back run from Moose Meadows, past the ever popular Inkpots and into the quiet less traveled backcountry trails leading to lake Louise.

We went for a run on a beautiful May Day - teagirl wore her super-thin VFFs so had to slow down a lot on the rocky downhills, but that let carguy feel like he could actually run faster than her, so it all worked out in the end. Finished up our run with wonderful cask / on-tap ales @ Tre Fantastico on the patio in the sunshine. Hooray for springtime in Victoria!...
Had planned an early morning run but awoke to pouring rain and cold (in mid-June!). But, now that i'm a Lower Mainlander again, i'd best get used to running in the rain! This run is on roads then a park with 'upgraded' gravel trails. Not my fave but it's an ok jaunt from the in-laws'. From Mt Thom you can access other neighborhoods. There are also lots of other great mtns around...
9.5K or so of thigh-burnin' hell
Running the IMBA Epic "7 Summits Trail" with a group of Rossland/regional folk. Awesome. 30.2km according to the trail information, and 3:19 "moving time" according to Garmin.
The pictures say it all
Finally able to record the loop without technical malfunctions, getting lost or falling off trees! A wunderful loop for a run or hike. Starting at Durrance lake, windig up and over smaller summits west of Mount Work, then connecting with the main hiking trail on the Munn's Raod side and back to Durrance lake via the main hiking trail over Mount work.
