De IJzerbroeken vormen
de grens tussen de polders en de leemstreek die verder landinwaarts ligt. Dit
waterrijk landschap is ideaal om eens op ontdekking te gaan in de Westhoek. Normaal
vertrekt de wandeling vanuit het charmante dorpje Pollinkhove, een deelgemeente
van Lo-Reninge, maar wij gaan van start in Fintele, waar de Lovaart in de Ijzer
uitmondt.

We took a short Winter Break vacation to Belgium. One day, we took the train from Brussels to Antwerp and spent the day there seeing the sights. Antwerp is delightful city with a mix of historic buildings, museums, churches, and wonderful shopping.Our visit started at the Antwerp Central train station; we walked West through the Meir shopping district, to the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekathedraal / The Cathedral of Our Lady; then to the Grote Markt....
