Trips
This is one of my favourite walks starting from Mieders along the end of the Stubaital (Stubai Valley) taking in Stefansbrücke and Europabrücke. From Mieders, the trail drops down to the River Ruetz and then turns and travels down the valley eventually reaching Stefansbrücke. There is then a steep climb back up to Europabrücke (once the tallest bridge in Europe) before an easy walk back to Mieders via Schönberg.
Started the trip at the mountain station of the Ehrwalder Almbahn. Although no longer marked we found the Koatiger Weg to shortcut the road going to Seebenalm. The trail from Seebensee to the Coburgerhütte is not too hard and well maintained. If you're in to geocaching, don't forget to pickup the cache at the nearby "Sea of the Dragons".
We started from Ehrwald through the Lärchenwald to the Weissensee.Continue on the remains of the Roman road over the Fernpass to the Blindsee. Enjoy the view from the Gasthof (and have a well deserved drink). Return on the trail down to the Blindsee and follow directions to Biberbier. On the way back to Ehrwald we passed by the Tummebichl geocache.
We started from Ehrwald via the Moosweg to Lermoos. From there it goes steep up to the Tüftlalm. The marvellous view is worth the trip.We climbed up somewhat further to the Daniel to grab the Tüftlalm geocache.Returned to Ehrwald on the forest trail (direction 120°) ... a very nice trail.
