This day we were placing a new geocache in the area of the Chimney. The trip starts at the Chimney and works back to the carpark. We did not follow strictly to the signposted chimney trail but diverted onto the Rails to Trails where the two tracks converge.
This is a short trail starting from the Carters Rd carpark, head down to the rails to trails track and turn right, there is a sign indicating where to come off the rails to trails on the left. The trail heads uphill through the forest and is fairly steep, cross over the road when you come to it and continue through the forest, at a certain point along the trail there is a forked...

Carters Rd to Boodjidup RdWent for a bit of a cycle today to drop off Frog Stomp GA movable cache. On the way back i tracked this part of the Rails to Trails. We start at the Carters Road car park and head South, along the way crossing over an old dilapidated railway bridge which is seriously dodgy and rotting. We then continue through some wonderful forest with many wild flowers in bloom...
Just a quick whiz around the local BMX track
This is a soft sandy track that will require a serious 4 wheel drive. The start of the track is off caves road, drive to the end of the Kilcarnup estate until you reach a sandy track. Take the track to your left. Now is the time to engage 4 wheel drive and hubs. When you get to the end of the track you can park your car and head off to the...
An amazing couple of hours through some of the best designed single track WA has to offer. Well worth an explore.
