Spent a pleasant afternoon hiking the trails and boardwalks of Weedon Island Preserve - located in Pinellas County, FLBesides the beautiful mangrove lined boardwalks and trails there is a cultural center with exhibits and a 3 story high observation tower. This is a little family friendly preserve. The parts that I did are their dirt trails. I've enjoyed coming here for quite some time. You can see a lot of families here on the weekends when the weather is nice, but this is a nice little place tucked into suburban sprawl.
