Surprises at every turn

We took a forked trip to hike the two canyons. One was short, almost too short but in retrospect a way to start experiencing the alive canyons with the spider webs hanging from branches to rocks and filtering the sunlight. Hiking | 3.8 miles (6.9 miles away)
A fun hike for hot days.  You will get wet!  There are several waterfalls you must climb.  There are ropes that have been placed to assist in the climb, but it can still be quite tricky due to the slippery rock face.  The first waterfall weeds out a lot of the hikers.  Coming down the waterfalls is quite fun.  They have natural water slides.  We stopped at the 3rd climb but there...

Etiwanda Waterfall Hike

Rancho Cucamonga, California, United States
Hiking | 3.6 miles (10.1 miles away)
This is a good workout.  I don't know who said that this is just a 950 foot climb, because it's almost 2,000 feet.  You spend the first half of the hiking climbing up and up.  It was a lot harder than I had expected.  The waterfalls are beautiful.  You have to climb higher up to see the really big waterfall. Parking is free and it's easy to find the hiking trail.
