Beautiful and rather easy hike going up to eventually see a nice strong waterfall (during spring).
A very nice hike into Waterfall Canyon. This is a pretty easy hike for the most part. I know that kids and such are able to make it up rather easily. As long as you go during the spring you'll get an awesome view of the waterfall at the end of the trail as well as a rather nice, albeit slim view of the city down below.
Garner Cave is a rather heavily visited cave since it's close to the city. This hike is said to be on the difficult scale, and I probably wouldn't disagree. I have personally gone up there 3 times now but it's not the hardest hike I've done. The cave has been visited by lots of people. There are a few spots that you could hurt yourself in there,...

At the top of Ogden Overlook you have a 360 degree view over ogden canyon. The climbs are switchbacks with easy very few obsticles. Sardine is a newer trail so not as traveled as other...

Trips
This trail is one of my favorites, according to Weber Pathways, According to my GPS I have a bit longer, but I tend to wander a bit.The trailheads are and the Indian Trailhead in Ogden Canyon (by the Smokey the Bear sign) and also 22nd street. There are many geocaches in the area, Some are puzzle caches.Took us nearly 4.5 hours, but we were hiking and finding those pesky caches.
There is a 200 ft waterfall at the top.
It is a steep, but short and quick hike.
I parked in the lot at the end of 29th street. I believe you can get to the waterfall from 36th street as well.
Trail starts on top of North Ogden Divide. The first switchbacks are the worst part, after that it is easy going along the ridge.Lewis Peak isn't a high peak, You have more elevation as you take the trail to get there, but the scene from the top of Ogden is well worth it.

A great hike to a spectacular 40' waterfall! The last 25' to the waterfall require you to walk through the river and you will get wet. Water shoes are recommended if you don't want to hike down in wet shoes. Our family hiked this with our kids ages 9, 7, 5, 3 and a 1 year old in our baby backpack.

From the 29th Street trailhead, you enter Taylor Canyon which is filled with great creek-side single track. Before making the turn onto the Malans Peak trail, you can find several primitive campsites along the south side of the creek. The trail to the peak is mostly shaded by heavy forest and climbs pretty steadily the rest of the way. The out-and-back can be accomplished easily in about 3 hours. Those looking for...
