An attempt to summit Eaglet in the winter.
Lorey, Roscoe, and I head out to the historic Lime Kiln Trail in western Washington state. "The Lime Kiln Trail is a lovely winter hike at low elevation, with lots
of moss, fungus and railroad artifacts. The trail is carved out of the
Everett & Monte Cristo railroad grade and features gurgling creeks,
an historic lime kiln, twisted iron railroad railings, and a walk down
to the banks of the thunderous Stillaguamish."http://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes-of-the-week/lime-kiln-trail
Nice trail. A lot of snow near lake, but not impossible and hard to get lost with number of people who have used it.

The statistics from the GPS for the altitude don't seem correct.
This trail was a low incline, easy hike. Along the way are old railway artifacts and an abandoned lime kiln at the trails end the trail loops around a nob hill and there is a small extension to where the old bridge used to be. The cement stanchions are still there.
