Five scouts from Den 3 came out for a Wolf year kickoff hike. A little warm and humid, but we made it. The trail was about 3.75 miles plus the trail to the trail led us on a 4.1 mile hike. The highlight of the hike may have been finding a snake on the trail!
Team Wood went on a stroll on the Yellow Trail. We counted 47 turtles sunning themselves on logs on this wonderful 80 degree September day.

This is the Blue trail. Crushed gravel and blacktop in some areas. There are a couple of areas to rest and take in some bird watching. Finishing the hike/walk on the boardwalk by Lake Defiance is a nice touch.
