Hike east from the Bloomington Ferry Bridge to the MN
Hike along Minnehaha Creek in South Minneapolis. Distance 4.97 mi, temp 24.8F Hard surface trail along the creek.
Just over 50 degrees outside for this walk. The path was as crowded as I've seen it since last October - 5 months ago! The lake is starting to thaw as well. There were only a few people out on the ice, and they were al staying close to shore.

Beautiful March weather for a walk around historic St Anthony. Walk includes Boom Island, Nicollet Island, the Stone Arch Bridge and a beautiful overlook of the river from the Guthrie Theatre.
35 degrees outside for this walk. Balmy compared to the last few months. Lots of people out on the ice.Also nice no have Reeve join me in the Chariot for this walk. She slept at least half way around.
A cold morning walk arond Lake Harriet. Still getting used to the idea of EveryTrail so I didn't remember to fire up the iPhone app until I had walked the first 10 minutes or so. Also, wierd glitch over along the east shore - not sure what that was about as I stayed along the trail the whole way around.For what it's worth, the temperature was 1 degree F when I started...
We picked up a new dog last weekend. We think he's a Basset Hound/Blue Heeler mix. He has short little legs and a long body so we weren't sure if he'd be a good walker. Now we know: he's fast! He pulled me along for the full 3.4 miles. He coud have easily kept going...He loved showing off along the south shore of Lake Harriet. Lot's of people and other dogs to...
