We met at The Nature Center at Charmlee Wilderness Park in Malibu, CA. It was 6:00 pm and the moon was just rising over the hills. The first group of 30 or so hikers went ahead lead by a guided tour. The remaining 23 hikers were asked to stay back for a second night guide. We took the Old Ranch Road and Meadow Ranch Road fire trails to the Old Reservoir outlook....

Walked into the campgrounds (trail is gated off from here) and wandered a little before realizing I passed the trailhead. It's right after the gate, but before the entrance booth.

This is a nice loop trail with a pretty steep incline. The first vista is beautiful! The time on this trail is off by about 25 minutes, because I didn't realize you could pause the time. This was my first trail I mapped.
