Home in the Netherlands, I had already seen this trip. He wasmore than worth it to walk. In the morning we go from our B & B by car up to the visitorscenter. We must make a choice, or the top or to the foot of the glacier. We go to the top. The view there should be great and the trip as such awesome to walk.In the early climb through the forest and later, head of the forestand get on the open plain. Incredible hike to harding icefield from which a lot of icebergs of the
Kenai Peninsula start. Even in a horrible day (it was raining the whole
day) it is amazing. Wear appropriate clothes and shoes and be prepared
for cold up there. We went there mid August and there was some snow

This was the second hike we did on our recent 2 week trip to Alaska. A great day-hike, which took about 5-6 hours to complete.
