A short trip to the top of Mink Mountain. A short but steady climb to the top for great views of Lake Superior including Sturgeon Bay. A well packed and travelled trail in the winter.
Troop 316 from Centerville Ohio. 13 scouts and 5 adults. We split into two patrols. This is the record of the Minong patrol. 7 Scouts and 2 Adults.
Day-trip to Isle Royale National Park. Boat left Copper Harbor, MI at 8:00 am, arrived at Isle Royal at 11:30am. Hiked the Stoville (sp?) Trail. Boat left at 2:45 and back to Copper Harbor, MI. Isle Royale is fantastic. Saw Loons. Island smells like Christmas trees.
