We camped along the Colorado River in Bend Texas. We decided to check out Gorman Falls which was neat and worth the hike. Gorman Falls w/ Side Trail

Colorado Bend State Park has some really great trails. I hiked to Gorman Falls and took the Tie Side trail on the way. I returned directly because of time constraint, but I'll return to explore more trails.

A very pretty hike. I hiked up the canyon trail, then returned on the springs trail. The springs trail follows the creek and you might lose the trail a couple of times, but you'll find it again. Some great pools that are crystal clear. You might enjoy a dip in the larger ones. The canyon trail has several pull-offs that overlook the creek and trail below.
