Wakeup came at 3:30am. We were on the trail by 4:30am. Hiked in the dark for an hour or so. Pretty cool as the trail went alongside a fast running mountain stream. Sounded neat. Up early for continental breakfast then on the trail for the last time. Time to conquer the "Tooth of Time". We've been looking at this from all over Philmont for the past two weeks. Neatest view was when we were on top of Baldy and could just barely see the tooth peak way off in the distance. I wasn't expecting all the climbing over the boulders for the last few hundred feet...
