This was my first time in this park. There are some hills, but they aren't very high, and I mostly hugged the coast. The first part of the hike, and the last, go by some of the best unspoiled salt marsh on the Bay, and the trail around Turtle Back has some educational signs. As I took the trails more inland, as a hiker I felt like an oddity; the mountain bikers...
Half the way is uphill and half the trip is downhill. Not much in between. Views of the Marin bay coastline, the three bridges at once, distant peaks, and some pretty flowers along the trail. Out and back on the same trail.
Me and Mei. Most Cloudy. My GPS broke on the way to the park.The site was the site for a Chinese fishery. they captured shrimps and process them and then sold them to China.
There is a parking lot on the right with bathrooms, a great place to start.
