I chained together a series of small loops in the Western Section of Eno River State Park, northwest of Durham, North Carolina.This is a great park for hiking -- lots of trails along creeks and the Eno River. Scenic even after the leaves have fallen; I imagine it's spectacular at peak season, but also pretty crowded. Trip write-up at Two-Heel Drive.
Beth, Reilly, Griffin and I took a very nice hike Saturday to the Eno Rock Quarry. It was a very nice hike for a 3 year old and 4 month old and the quarry water was crystal clear.

Maintained by the Town of Cary. The trails are well maintained and great for a family walk, especially if you have young children. There are several trails with the longest being Chestnut Trail, which is the one I mapped.
