Happy Days, Ledges, and Pines

Great 1.5 - 2 hour hike, I give it a moderate rating (has plenty of hills).
Good moderate trail with plenty of good scenery. I would have given it 5 stars but a good part of it is located near the road. Granted, the traffic is not heavy but even the occasional car passing by, in some ways, ruins the hike.
This was a nice short hike with my son. We spent most of our time exploring the rock formations.
Buckeye Trail to South Tow Path Loop

Peninsula, Ohio, United States
Hiking | 7.2 miles (11.0 miles away)
Hiking | 7.2 miles (11.0 miles away)
Great workout with steep grades, creek crossing, and some rough terrain. I would have given it a higher rating if it weren't for the fact that you have to walk through Peninsula. First half of the trail is great though.
Pine Lane to North Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath

Boston, Ohio, United States
Hiking | 8.1 miles (11.0 miles away)
Hiking | 8.1 miles (11.0 miles away)
I rate it moderate to difficult due to the steep grades and the makeshift bridges that must be crossed.
This trail was not very picturesque but was a great workout. The slushy conditions made it extremely difficult to hike. This is probably a great trail to hike in the summer or in the snow with snowshoes but definitely not in 50 degree weather when the snow is melting. In these conditions I would rate it as “difficult” but otherwise I’d give it a “low moderate.”
CVNP Boston Run Trail to Haskell Run Trail to Ledges Trail loops

Hiking | 6.3 miles (10.4 miles away)
This trip is based on 3 hikes from the Cuyahoga Challenge 2011: Boston Run Trail, Haskell Run Trail, and Ledges Trail...these can all be done together via the connector trails between them. I parked in the lot on the south side of 303 across from the Happy Days Lodge did the Boston Run first, then half of the Haskell on the way to Ledges, then completed Haskell on the return trip to...
Hiking Hounds trip. Buddy climbed half way up the falls.
Took the day off. 70 degrees on Nov. 6. Hell yeah!
Brenda and Roger hiked the Towpath Trail thru downtown Akron to the Mustill Store. The total round trip was 2.5 miles. We had a 300 foot vertical climb on our return loop.
Sunday hike in the Cleveland Metroparks / Brecksville Reservation. The length under 'Statistics' is incorrect, it is approximately 2 miles or so. I forgot to end the tracking at the actual end point, but the red trail on the map is now correct after editing it here.
This is a possible plan of a trail being built out on the property of Morgan's Preserve.
